Focused Under Pressure, Fueled by Perseverance

When the belts are pulled tight and the visor comes down, Josiah loves how the outside world fades away and all that matters is the next corner and the next lap. His interest began in the grandstands, watching local races and wondering if he could do it too. That curiosity grew into determination as he learned dirt track racing alongside his family. His favorite memory so far is his first feature win at Blackwater Speedway. He has also learned that success means taking care of himself, with the right hydration and nutrition for racing in the Northwest Florida heat.

Friends describe Josiah as kind, dependable and encouraging, especially when a fellow racer has a disappointing night. Away from the track he creates gaming content for his growing YouTube channel and loves math and science. His racing hero is Blaine “B2” Card, who has become a mentor and friend. Josiah dreams of racing a Dirt Super Late Model full time, and he hopes to be remembered for his kindness, his thoughtfulness and the positive impact he had on the people around him.

“When the belts tighten and the green flag waves, every lap is another chance to learn, compete, and become the best version of myself.”Josiah Rausch, #26

Driven by Curiosity, Defined by Character

Caleb loves climbing into the driver’s seat, fastening the belts and feeling the speed and precision only a race car can give. After moving to Northwest Florida, he met another young racer whose determination sparked a dream of his own. One of his proudest moments came on a night he ran the pace of the field and finished an entire event without being lapped. When an early-season crash tested him, he chose to climb back in.

Away from the track, Caleb is kind, dependable and always willing to help. He writes code for video games and loves math and science. He admires Christian “Peanut” Carnley for his race craft and never-quit attitude, and he dreams of driving a Formula One car, racing Dirt Modifieds and becoming a professional video game programmer. Most of all, he hopes to be remembered as kind, honest and a racer with integrity.

“Every lap is another opportunity to learn, improve, and become better than I was the race before.”Caleb Rausch, #62

Where it all started

Our Story

Mirror Image Motorsports began with a question from two young boys watching cars circle a local dirt track: “Dad… do you think we could ever do that?”

Founder Kyle Rausch grew up racing one-tenth scale remote control trucks and won a World Championship in 1994. Dirt track racing was new to the family until they moved to Crestview, Florida, and met another family whose son raced Junior Slingshot, the division Caleb and Josiah now call home.

The name Mirror Image reflects Caleb and Josiah as identical twins. They mirror one another in many ways, yet each has grown into his own person, and together they remind us that success is strongest when it is shared.

Three pillars guide the team: God, Family, and Racing. Every decision starts with one question: will this help Caleb and Josiah become better men? Every race teaches responsibility, humility, perseverance, patience, respect, and gratitude.

Our sponsors are family. Every logo on the cars represents trust in our values, and we carry the responsibility of honoring that trust. Thank you for believing in our family and in our boys.
